Test the effect of drugs on cancer cell lines that are genetically changed compared to wild type cancer cell lines. The grouping of cell lines for comparison will be based on genetic data at www.cBioportal.org and prepared as a table manually or using this tool. The drug data and genetic data provided for analysis here were ascertained in Yang et al. 2013, PMID:23180760; Iorio et al. 2016, PMID:27397505 and Garnett et al. 2012, PMID:27397505.
Step 2 - Use this tool to create and analyze a groups.txt file from the .tsv table with up to three genes queried. By default we define supposedly activating changes (DNA amplifications or mRNA high) and deactivating changes (DNA homozygous deletions or mRNA low). You can also include point mutations in the altered group, leave them out or analyze point mutations only.
