Test drug response for groups of cancer cell lines: genetically changed vs. wild type. The grouping of cell lines for comparison will be based on genetic data at www.cBioportal.org and prepared as a table manually or using the GDSC tool.

The drug data and genetic data provided here were ascertained in two studies (Barretina et al., Nature 2012, PMID: 22460905 and Ghandi et al., Nature 2019, PMID: 31068700). Drug activities were approximated using cellular ATP levels as a surrogate for cell number and growth.

Guide on how to obtain a file 'alterations_across_samples.tsv' for cell lines from cBioportal.org (link)
Use the GDSC tool to create a groups.txt from the .tsv table (link)
Example for a manually curated groups.txt file to run here, defining cell lines are changed if they have BRAF V600 mutations and are wild type if they do have information on point mutations however, not a V600 variant (link)
